Day One

This was day one of Peter's short stay in Atherton North Queensland with his Mum and Mon his brother. He was met at the airport by Mon and Simon. It was such a bonus for Peter to catch up with Simon given that the next day he was to "boot off" again for the Northern Territory for more "drillin". The three had lunch in Cairns Central before Simon left them for an overnight stay in that city and to try his luck at the casino in the evening. Peter and Mon drove to Atherton and chatted on theological matters concerning "God's calling" here on earth.

It was an enjoyable reunion with Mum (Ma to some people). She is not the best... sort of living on a wing and a prayer, but in good spirits. Peter hopes to wake up each morning with the words ringing in his mind: Let us make each day an adventure with God. This was a good start.
