Woodcraft Freebuild

'Freebuild' means that students are given complete free freedom to find what they can in the wood scrap boxes and make whatever comes to mind. There was a structured 'kit' to go by if they were that way inclined, one of a simple house and many students preferred to make these. These photos are taken over a number of weeks showing how the return to woodcraft club was proceeding. So far so good and the glue might last until the end of term all being well.

Spring Abundance

Apricot blossom September

Spring as made a nice start this year. Reasonable rains have fallen and given our fruit trees some thing to work with. Besides that the blackberry bush is producing well and the pumpkin seeds planted a few weeks ago from a just cut pumpkin have started to come up. This bodes well for a bumper season.

Apricots emerging late September

Starting to fill out in October

Looking good and will be picked during January

Ashton's First Year

less then 30 minutes old

It seems a really nice idea to collect the monthly 'snaps' into one place to gain a good overall look at the growth of young Ashton. He has had a great start to life, a true blessing of love and care from God.
