Memories of Our Most Recent Visit

This was not as easy as it looks. Our car’s engine boiled over in the second last town on the trip (Cockatoo).  Gord picked us up and took us the rest of the way. This was sort of a late birthday event for Peter and on a day when we could both make it. The series of blogs below this one all reflect the same event but from different vantage points. Barb’s camera and Peter’s camera in action.

Before Gord took us back to our car we had pizza in the Cockatoo Park, a really nice way to end the day. And yes, we did make it home again...

Portrait of a Girl

Piper is growing into a delightfully relaxed and very complete young person. She is reading very well now.  She is not so fussy that she gets bogged down in her creations, and has loads of creative energy to create a show with whatever is handy at the time. We enjoyed the story of the farmer and all the animals and this included numerous backdrop changes.

Pairs of Boys

When their mother Jackie brought her two sons Matari and Eloi to visit with Bec, there was an immediate and seamless pairing of playmates. This was one of those perfect days weather-wise and there was plenty of fun to be had, including “eating out”.  Matari pairs with Jasper and Eloi pairs with Jethro.

Gord

Gord has cut back his workload in the city and is feeling his way into having more time at home and all that entails. We have every confidence that he will be able to adjust to any transition without too much stress because of his perspective on life.
