Day Eleven

This was the day Peter returned to Melbourne. Before he left Atherton his Mum showed him the horse and rider she always saw from her position on her bed. Earlier. Peter had initially searched through all the negative spaces. Then he suddenly realised that his mum was propably looking at the positive shapes, the bunches of leaves making the shapes. Then he saw it. Can you?

Mon drove Peter to the coast and to the Cairns Airport. Some parts of the Karanda Highway are very enclosed and green as the road snakes through the jungle giving a nice feeling as you travel. Mon and Peter resumed their theological discussion on the way down.

At the airport, the extra baggage was "passed" without any questions, which was so nice. The flight south was uneventful apart from turbulance over NSW. Barb was there at the Melbourne Airport for Peter's arrival and we had a coffee there while the waited for the baggage (delayed). When we eventually arrived home we phoned Mum and heard that Mon had got back and she had got through the day quite well. That was good.

Then it was off to Greensborough to have a bite to eat with Dan. Barb and prearranged this and we picked him up on the way through. These three pictures we all had turns taking to record the event. Then it was home and to properly unpack and go through the pile of mail.
