After they picked up Mum, they made the usual stop at the rose garden on the road back to Atherton. Mum waited in the car while Mon went into the shed and picked up this week's roses. The deal is that they get roses really cheap, but they don't know what they are going to get. That adds to the excitement. This time there was a whole variety of roses, long, short stemmed, red, pink, mauve, white, cream, collected in one big bunch. Pretty nice.
That night, Peter discovered a new and exciting desert: half a pawpaw with the hollow centre filled with creamy yogurt and topped with icecream. YUM! Angel food!
The previous night, Mon had replaced the hard-drive in his laptop with a better one. From then on he has been fiddling with program instalation to get it right. He will probably take a further week to get his laptop back to a happy function. And that is just the first step. He will then overlay his Vista with Windows 7. This is all very much over the head of Peter.
