In the evening of this day, Peter joined his Men's Bible Study group for their Christmas break up. The venue was the Mernda Hotel, near Tony and Gordon. The rest had to drive into the country north of Melbourne. The area is developing so quickly that the countryside seen out of the hotel windows (background) will soon become a large shopping centre. The hotel may gain more customers but lose the country magic it has at present.
It was a good relaxing night with good food and fellowship. Toward the end of the night the topics ranged from the carbon trading scheme to what the first temple was made out of.
