Steps Toward Christmas

It's Christmas time and Peter took out the tree which lives in a cupboard for eleven months of the year and electrofied it and added some tinsel. There... that's good enough. And why the vest? People just think he wants to cross the street safely, but from his perspective, he wants to show his solidarity with the anti-globalist protesters in Paris and in other places where the yellow vest movement has taken off. Then there is the puzzle. It's a good one. More on that later when it is done. Christmas time is when old friends come together to talk about old times and past professional practice. It's also a time for helping people assemble hampers for people who are doing it tough. And remarkably, at thirty plus years of age, our clothesline got a restringing 'present'. Hopefully the new line will last as long as the original.
