Christmas 2018

This Christmas we went to a completely different venue to the past six years, Edinburgh Gardens, North Fitzroy. It was mid afternoon before we got there because some members of our party had work commitments. It gave us time to put a chicken and vegies into the oven and organise methods to transport it there. It was pure luxury with our folding table and chairs and the spread of still warm food, followed later by fruit salad and trifle. In between the eating and chatting we moved away from our tree into a more open space to throw the frisbee purchased especially for the occasion. Some time between this and that activity we found the time to exchange our gifts, each of us getting one or two. It was a gentle and thankful sharing. We stayed for quite a number of hours and chilled out in a very enjoyable way, the five of us.

Lots of other groups under neighbouring trees.
