We went to the Melbourne Zoo! In fact, we joined as members for one year and this was our first visit after probably a decade. In one afternoon we walked over most of the map and took some pretty neat pictures. The challenge afterward became how to share these in some ordered and logical way. Might all the birds be in one blog, all the butterflies in another, then the reptiles, etc? Instead, we present by colour path area from the zoo map, starting with green (rainforest), then magenta, olive, grey, yellow, orange, blue and red (then butterflies separately). That was actually the way we walked the paths except we doubled back and visited the butterflies because the queue to enter the enclosure was way too long when we passed it the first time. So the blogs above will be identified by map colour except the separate butterfly one. This collection of blogs is simply a humble record of the Melbourne (City) Zoo, January 2021.
