A Great Legacy

We wish to acknowledge a loss to our world of a wonderful man of God. We knew Graham and Ann when they lived near Whittlesea and supported our local youth group when our children were teenagers. Graham was offered a position at Camp Coolamatong after that, and he and Ann, with their children Kaitlin and Jake, left our part of the world and established themselves there. Barb went there as camp cook about ten years ago and caught up with Graham then.

Scripture Union went through a financial squeeze during their time at Camp Coolamatong. Graham was instrumental in keeping the camp location going. He and his son Jake raised $45,000 riding 500Km, each on a unicycle!

Then in 2011, Peter met Graham at a chaplaincy orientation. Yes, both were new appointees for the school year, Peter at Whittlesea Primary and Graham at Eagle Point Primary. At the chaplaincy conference that year, Peter and Graham were able to catch up and share how they and their families were travelling. Nice memories. So when we heard that Graham had died from a brain tumour (3 February 2013) we were deeply shocked and saddened. Our society at large has lost a great man and we wish to post this memory in honour of our great friend.
