One of the great facinations for us are the numbers on motor bikes. Most of them are Honda because spare parts are cheap and can be repaired by roving street mechanics willing to tackle anything. Our guide (Ho) in Saigon told us that his people have fallen into the habit of hopping on a bike even for 100 metres travel. Few will catch the subsidised buses because of what the bikes have to offer for speed through the traffic and efficient parking. Here is blog about some of this.
