Peter had been given a lot of thick cardboard tubes recently. These he docked into similar short lengths for easy construction. He also visited a thrift shop where he found a lot of toy blocks and similar such things. So this week's woodcraft club had quite an assortment to build with. Peter calls these days "freebuild" and the kids poke through the trays to see what is there to use. This was a relaxing way to finish the term.
