Over the last few years, Peter had been collecting tubes (the thick cardboard variety) and the week finally came when he docked them down to "construction" size and brought them to school. Each piece had a number of drilled holes and there were plenty of sticks supplied that fitted firmly into these holes. All in all, it turned out to be a very creative and energetic Woodcraft Club. There seemed to be an increased number of kids in the room so Peter was glad he had prepared such a large number of pieces to begin with.
