This project was an attempt to combine 'wood' and Christmas in a simple but exotic way. Peter carefully docket branches from a dead tree into thin disks and drilled many holes in each both on the side and around the top to allow a whole variety of attachments. Feathers made the creations attractive and in a way make their designs look less Christmassy. But then what is Christmas supposed to look like in another country like Australia. If their creations hang on a Christmas tree or on the door knob of their rooms it does not matter. They were engrossed.
