We had the pleasure of staying at Sandy Point again with good friends. The sand is so compact that vehicles can easily traverse it. There are loads of interesting flora and fauna and not too many people about considering that January is a peak holiday time. Everybody, young and old, were wonderfully polite with a hello and a smile as we passed. Encouraging. We posted about our last visit to Sandy Point, November 2014 - same friends same fun. Peter's swim on one of the days was memorable with amazing water reflections. Sorry, no pictures of that. Camera not waterproof.
The walk over the dunes from the beach to the town of Sandy Point always holds a special memory. We share a 2014 video of the walk here for those who might be interested.
