Announcing Aston

Nothing too much needs to be said. We have a very proud son at present. He and his partner are blessed with a little boy. It was not easy and the staff at the hospital have provided amazingly good care. Every second thought is a prayer for blessings and a prayer of thanks.

Signet Swans at Uni Hill

After our discovery in August of a nesting pair at the Uni Hill Wetlands we have visited the place on a number of occasions to see firstly whether their eggs hatched and how many. We saw three signets with their Black Swan parents. It was wonderful to see and we might post more in this later.

King Parrots at Lorne

We had the pleasure of being able to view these majestic parrots close up when we stayed at Lorne recently. These ones were pretty tame, probably waiting for treats.

Erskine Falls

While staying at Lorne, we and our friends visited Erskine Falls nearby. It was good for the soul to experience the wetness and smells of the falls. The walk down was simple enough but Peter found the walk back up all the steps very hard. It reminded him of his age. Sobering.

Missional Community at Lorne

 We had the pleasure of staying at an Air B&B at Lorne along the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, recently, and sharing the experience with friends from our Christian community. Here are some of the memories. It was super nice to wake up to a sunrise like this.
