Tallarook Space Shuttles

Peter looks for ways for kids to assemble a wooden project that are pitched to the right degree of difficulty so that he does not get swamped with cries for help. The space shuttle was one of these and there was a degree of design variation after the basic wing and body assembly. It was very pleasing for Peter to see most of the students have a go with what they found and make it work. It allowed him to focus on just a few very young ones who sat there wondering how to start. Of further interest was the fact that only about half the kids knew about the existence of the Space Shuttles that supplied the International Space Station for all those years from the mid 80's.

Barb Birthday

Barb had her birthday in layers, or better than that, with many small parties from people dropping in on her for a succession of days. We even went to a restaurant on the actual day and somehow we forget to take picture of that one. Our images are therefore a little slim on the ground.

Lorne Weekend

We had a lovely weekend earlier in the month with our good friends. The holiday house had a perfect view of Lorne. The dogs had many fun walks/runs, even into the surf. The following are some of the memories.

Just a bit windy!!

Dan Birthday

We shared a very nice birthday Yum Chow with Dan. Lovely memories. We were glad Dan was experienced at Yum Chow eating, where waiters pass by adding more food to our table in small fast amounts. Very nice too.
