King Parrots at Lorne

We had the pleasure of being able to view these majestic parrots close up when we stayed at Lorne recently. These ones were pretty tame, probably waiting for treats.

Erskine Falls

While staying at Lorne, we and our friends visited Erskine Falls nearby. It was good for the soul to experience the wetness and smells of the falls. The walk down was simple enough but Peter found the walk back up all the steps very hard. It reminded him of his age. Sobering.

Missional Community at Lorne

 We had the pleasure of staying at an Air B&B at Lorne along the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, recently, and sharing the experience with friends from our Christian community. Here are some of the memories. It was super nice to wake up to a sunrise like this.

Shock Wave Zip

While we were in Lorne, friends showed us a new fun park called Live Wire Park. The place had various high wire adventure challenges including one called the 'Shock Wave Zip Coaster' which was booked for us to try. It was a fast trip with only gravity doing the pulling. Trees went wizzing by and we seemed to almost crash into them before taking yet another sharp swinging bend in the continuous track. We will have to come again to try the other courses.
